Choose the format you like the video to be converted to. The html format is automatically included as output format.

NOTE: Only one kind of format is permitted to be converted to at a time. If you choose FLV, there is no movie beginning or movie end for this format. Press “Next”, you will face the starting conversion interface.

Output Path: Click the Browse button to choose a specific folder on your hard disc to save the generated file.

Control Bar Style: Click to select a style for your control bar. Select “None” if you don’t want to have control bar.

Control Bar Position: Select to make the control bar appear on the top or at the bottom.

Control Bar Color: Choose the color you prefer.

Auto hide control bar: Check and set the duration of the control bar to be shown. The control bar will hide from screen if the cursor isn’t moved to the screen within a period of time.

Control bar over movie: Check to make the control bar occupy the screen of the video. If it is checked, the “Auto hide control bar” function is automatically checked. You can uncheck the “Auto hide control bar ” function, but it may influence the visual effect.

Include replay button: Check to show a “Replay” button when the video comes to an end. If it is unchecked, the video will play in a continuous loop. You can type the character you want to show in the replay button in the frame beside.

Pause at first frame: Check to make the screen stop at the first frame of the video. If you choose movie beginning settings, the play may stop to replay the movie beginning until there is commanded to play the video. .

Pause at last frame: Check to make the screen stop at the last frame of the video. If you choose movie end settings, the play may stop to replay the movie end when the video is played thoroughly .

Initial volume: Set the percentage of the original audio volume as the output audio volume.

Video Link: Type the link of the content you want to show when the screen of the video is clicked. It will open the link when user clicks the screen of the video in html format. Leave it as blank or with " http:// ", if you don't want to add this function.

_self: Show in the current frame
_blank: Show in a new window
_top: Show in the top frame
_parent: Show in the parent frame

NOTE: When applying “Pause at first frame” without selecting a control bar, you should have other ways to make the video file continue to play.

User Caption: Check to add caption to your video. Type the caption text you want to add and click the “T” to choose the font you prefer.

Origin: Select the origin position for your caption.

Offset: Change the values to specify the exact position of the caption.

LOGO: Check to add your LOGO to your video. Click the Browse button to select your LOGO icon from your hard disc.

Origin: Select the origin position for your LOGO.

Offset: Change the values to specify the exact postion of the LOGO. The “T” and “L” are for the distance from the origin, and the “Width” and “Height” are for the size of the LOGO.

NOTE: The “hold-down” status is to keep the original aspect ratio of the watermark image.

Transparent: Click “None” if you don’t want to set any color to be transparent. Click “Select”, and you will see the window about transparency pop up. There are two methods of selecting the transparent color.

  • Use your mouse to click a pixel from the picture on the left, and the color will be shown on lower left part of the window.
  • Change the values in the boxes for “R” (Red), “G” (Green) and “B” (Black) to set the transparent color, if it is available in the picture.

Tolerance: Drag the bar to change the tolerance of the transparent color and get the effect you like.

Video Effect: You can add some animated effects such as snow, flower, leaf, etc. to you video. Click “Video effect” drop-down list and select the effect you prefer. We will release more effects on our website from time to time. You can always visit our website to update your video effects for free, Video effect is grayed, if you choose the flv. format.

Background Color: Click to set the background color for your output file.

NOTE: If you want to specify cue points for FLV, please use Flash Video MX-Batch Encoder, by clicking the “Run Batch Encoder” on the bottom left corner.

Templates: Choose “None”, if you don’t want to add movie beginning or movie end. Click other templates below the “None”, and then you can change the settings in movie beginning and movie end. You can also add other templates with different text font and video effects and rename them for your reference. Removing the templates you added is acceptable.


Movie Beginning Settings: "Movie Beginning" includes subject, director and description. You can add movie-making information and a brief introduction of your movie. You can click to choose the font you prefer. After entering the information, click the “Play” button to preview the effect.

Text Effects: Choose the effect you prefer.

Background: Set the background color for the movie beginning. You can choose a picture or a flash as the background of the movie beginning. Click “Color” to select the background color.

Stretch: Make the background picture/flash match the screen.

Proportional: Keep the aspect ratio of the background image.


Movie End Settings: You can add movie credits, sponsor information etc. You can click to choose the font you prefer. After entering the information, you can click the “Play” button to preview the effect.

Start Conversie

Start Conversion:Click "Start " to start conversion after you have finished all the settings. Click "Start" to start converting and you will find the converted file in the directory you specified after you are told the conversion has been finished.


The video files converted by Flash Video MX can be played by any Macromedia Flash version above 6.0 (6.0 included).
